My Zebra hide was left out of my trophy shipment from Life Forms.

I have been told here in the US that It can just be mailed to me as it is already tanned and doesn't need USFW clearance.

Any Advice?

If tanned as part of a trophy consignment it is treated differently than if bought as a Curio/souvenir etc out of a licenced store. It still requires some paperwork with it but nothing complicated, ( I beleive it is just a certificate from a registered taxidermist)

The girls at life form know their stuff as they are active in all aspects of the market so I would be happy to follow their guidance.

I have done this before with some Springbuck hides that I made a bag from for my wife, and I am picking up some tanned Zebra rugs in a month or so that I will also be using to make a range of bags from. Neither are being moved as hunting trophies.
