Tonight I was watching the opening ceremonies for the Olympic Games, including the procession of the countries into the Olympic Stadium. Among many others, I saw the entry of the United Arab Emirates delegation; the flag bearer was identified as Saeed Almakhtoum (spelling), Shooting. (I admit that I wasn't watching very carefully just then). I think that this is not our Saeed, but who is it? I think our Saeed could very well win a lot of medals in shooting if he is really an Olympic participant.

Saeed's brother is world skeet shooting champion, IIRC.
Not a shock he's on TV. I think it's great.
God Bless him, and I hope he wins the gold.
