This was an incredible episode, I am lucky enough to be friends with this young man and his family and he is truly an inspiration, he loves to hunt and absolutely gives it his all on every hunt, whether it is hunting doves, deer, pigs, black bear or African game.
It is impossible to cram a 10 day hunt into a 23 minute TV show but I think TAA did a pretty good job on this one. Although the program couldn't show it, the hunters sat pretty much motionless for 5 hours waiting for the croc to present a clear shot, pretty tough for a kid with Josh's ailment, but he kept his fingers crossed and did it.
My wife and I were able to see the entire video filmed by the TAA camera crew and it is damned good, my wife is especially fond of Josh (her Dad was epileptic, so she knows the challenges he faces) and was more than a little teary eyed after only a few minutes of watching the video.
Josh is a good kid, Tim, Dave and Mark with Chifuti did a spectacular job with this one.

What a pleasure to help Josh and Allen enjoy Africa together. Josh drains every ounce of fun out of his days in the bush and gives his all to each hunt. The pleasure was ours to help this remarkable young man realize a few hunting dreams. It is the true essence of the hunt, not record books or awards that Josh enjoys. Maybe we could all learn a lesson from him. Congrats from the entire Chifuti and Safari Classics family Josh, you are a rock star my friend!

Asa retired special educator many times I have had hunters and fishermen take my students on a trip they never expected to experience. The joy and excitement they showed made the providers of those experiences both proud and humble that they could bring such joy in a kid's life. My deepest respect and thanks to all who have donated their time and effort to these special kids. It ain't the way it used to,but it will do. Jerry Hoover
