He has puncture marks all over him (probably from a fight) and is dying of internal injuries. Good looking male though.

Please allow him to die a natural death worthy of his dignity .... to a pack of Hyenas that will slowly shred him to an agonizing death.

That's how the antis would want it.

Surely that dark blob on the lower half of his mane is not a collar?

Can someone please email me this pic. I want to email it to some friends who are not hunters but are the majority who will allow hunting if it provides more good than harm.

The King is dead. Long live the King.

Thank you.

Great point Sir, great point!

I just sent out a mass email with this picture stating that, with some facts about what this old cats final outcome would be, hyenas and all.

Non-hunters believe that death in the wild is quiet, calm and beautiful. Death in the wild is horrible. The only thing missing from this picture is a troupe of hyenas. This great old man is going to be eaten alive. Much better to have been picked off last year as a trophy.

Majestic and magnificent animal.

As a hunter, and lover of wildlife, I would sooner kill him in his fully mature prime, than see him suffer such an awful, malingering fate as this.
