You should keep in mind that the .375 H&H isn't intended to be used in doubbles! So you shot try to shot it a couple of times to see if it handles the non rimmed cartridge OK!

Having said that I myself once used a Krighoff Double in .375 H&H on a test hunt and it worked with out problems!

As Mads says the 375 H&H is not intended for doubles however in recent years many have been so chambered, especially from European makers. Modern double actions have much stronger metallurgy and so are able to withstand pressures that would have severely limited old pre-war rifles. There have also been a large number of custom O/U doubles made using 20G shotgun actions. I've seen quite a few of these in 375. They've ranged from being of excellent to shocking in both workmanship and overall quality. $1200 seems cheap for any double. Make sure you shoot it before purchase because if it isn't regulated properly it's next to useless.

I've attached a link to another 375 H&H double currently for sale as a comparison.(Quite a bit more money though)

I had an opportunity to purchase a Krieghoff .375 H&H side by side about 17 years ago for $A1,100 ($US600). Don't know if it was the rimmed or magnum version.

At the time I was looking for a .30-06 and didn't buy it. Also in a double I was looking for something more like a .470 and if smaller like a .375 to be tapped for a scope.

Have regretted not buying it ever since. If it shot well it would have been a bargain compared to today's prices.

If you can try it out before buying do so, if not buy it anyway and try it out. It can always be re-sold if you don't like it.

I would be very cautious of a $1200 double rifle of any kind and particularly in 375, which I would not have in a double rifle...

Doubles are not designed for the 416 Rigby and 375 H&H IMHO and should be produced only in rimmed cartridges and under 40,000 PSI..that way they last longer.
