For my bespoke safari boots, I prefer the Hartmann's Mountain edition, but it is only available to certified Saloon Scouts. Cool

I wore those Frosdicks in the Caprivi last year. I went whole hog and got the version with zebra skin instead of Scottish canvas. Was that wrong?

They actually had the gall to charge me an additional $2500 when I ordered them with GoreTex. rotflmo

No tread on those boots, clearly meant for a mounted safari, not a foot safari. Price is not acceptable either.

a very bold option for those with gender confusion and a sense of adventure...

I can see Elton John at his next concert wearing a pair. With matching Liederhosen.

If you can get that visual, please do not tell me.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

I will pain you to note that the image is in fact linked to, rather than downloaded on to my machine!

But I concede on the matter of the moustache, It was a terrible idea and made me look like a cossack on holiday.

When my girlfriend first saw the full majesty of the beast, after I shaved off the cunning disguise beard, she burst in to tears.

Didn't even want to hear about the tip passed on by my great-great-great grandfather about using raisin paste on the end rather wax if you knew you had to tackle a cup of coffee later....
