My best pig came out of Mozambique with Mark Haldane's ZDS Coutada 11 concession but I have killed very big pigs with Buzz Charlton in Dande East and Diethelm Metzger in Namibia. The great thing about warthogs is they are found across Africa and fairly common so the big ones can be found almost anywhere.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Lots of great piggies there gents. I kept going back and forth trying to figure out which was the best. Then Russell posted this monster with perfect symmetry!! WOW!! This one takes the crown IMO!

Some damn fine pigs. I have always been impressed by the mass of the Namibian pigs....

Warthog taken in the Dande North with Swainsons. I shot him with my M-70 in .375H&H.

But as long as we are throwing in some Kudu here is my personal best 55.5" on the long horn taken with a Matthews Q2 and a 125gr G3 Monotech broad head in Northern South Africa about an hour north of Rustenburg.

Here are a couple of pictures of my pig from 2008. This was in Limpopo province of South Africa.

Needed to get some bow killed pigs posted!

That is my PH Reon Van Tonder, of African Barefoot Safaris. Great PH and a great friend!
