We need to sell our Mahenge North quota in Tanzania and it is late in the year. Adam has authorized me to offer buffalo hunts at what I consider bargain prices.

1x1 7 days $7900 2 buffalo

2x1 7 days $6500 2 buffalo each hunter

4x2 7 days $6000 2 buffalo each hunter

We also can do 2 back to back 7 day hunts allowing the hunter 4 buffalo.

These hunts include:

Conservation fee
Hunting permit
Trophy handling
Dip/pack
2 gun permits
Road transfer from Dar Es Salaam to Mahenge and return

Not included:

Charter if desired
trophy fees
International flights
Hotels before and after safari if necessary
Gratuities
Shipping of trophies

This is the best deal we will ever offer and it is with our company on our concessions and with our PH's.

Contact me anytime for details.

Mark

I did it ... rains went late. My timing was not good. See report:

Very exciting to hunt in the long grass with the Buf and the Lions! Did not come home empty handed ... but it was close.

We hunted Mahenge North in 2005, and had an absolutely great hunt.

I understand some hunters had problems getting what they wanted in 2006.

This just goes to show that conditions do change from year to year, and one has to take his chances with them.

This reminds me of the 5 consecuting years we hunted Chete in Zimbabwe.

We had great hunts every year, but they sure were not the same every year.

My son and I hunted MN last year. There are different levels of hunts like dept. stores. Walmart,Macys and NeimanMarcus. As my grandfather said "You usually get what you pay for".

I never huntedin tanzania. Maybe this will be a good opportunity. In July is too early in season? The grass is still too high? What plains game is available? Is a hunt not advisable?

See my post above.

July would be WAY too early. Last year the grass was 10 feet and better in some places the third week of August. I would think 2nd week in September might be a reasonable bet on an average year.
