My Adventure Unlimited, Inc ball cap has about had it and their new ones just aren't as cool. Who has the best safari / dangerous game type logo on a quality ball cap?

Scott:

Funny you asked!

After our emails this week about Dallas in January, I was shopping for a flight for Sandy to DSC (She'll probably go after all) and I switched over to AR to see what was being discussed. I had my Africa coffee cup full by me, and I was using my Kindle Fire with the Leopard cover... and, on my head was my self-made DG hat (now, well worn).

I bought the logo from an embroidery supply company, but the buffalo was brown. I fixed that with Sharpies in gray and black. Not bad, huh? If you can't read the inscription on the side, it is "Owe Him Money?". I put a little American Flag/USMC pin on the bill.

Want me to make you one?

A shameless plug for my own line of safari caps. They seem to be very well liked and are sought around the globe. Here are a couple photos and a link about how I developed the logo. Primarily, the logo design elements coupled with the overall cap fit and design are what seems to make the cap so popular. About Our Logo. The bottom photo is a Pilla Sport photo but it nicely displays the overall cap fit and design when worn.

Yes Shawn, very interesting logo! tu2 Thanks for the explanation. Big Grin I wonder if there is something similar in one of the African legends dealing in Zulu, Ndebele, Shona, or Swahili?

Shootaway +1

I just lost mine somewhere in Namibia. Now I suppose I have to book another hunt with Myles and Buzz to get another one.

I thought I would post this picture up of Mark's safari cap logo (sorry about the poor photo quality). It is an old picture from an iPod or something that was used at that time as a wallpaper image on a small screen device.

Cheers,
Shawn

I usually have an AR cap on but when I need a change in luck this is the one I go to:

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
