They can delay, delay, delay... but when the spotlight of truth finally illuminates these cockroaches, there will be no place to hide. This information was just received from sources in South Africa that this lengthy trial is finally going to get underway.

This is going to worry the alleged wealthy American clients who allegedly participated in Out of Africa's alleged rape of allegedly illegally confiscated farms and conservancies in Zimbabwe. If things look like they are going to go south for the alleged rhino poachers... then, it might become time for 'Las Cucarachas' to cut an alleged deal. Cool

Musina Magistrates Court, Limpopo Province, South Africa

Dawie Groenewald and his co-accused will face 1872 charges. The indictment is 637 pages long and includes the list of state witnesses.

There were 13 people in the original charge sheets, now there are 11 people going to trial. Two people were recused.

There have been several postponements over the past two years. Early in May 2012 Asset Forteiture orders were served on all the accused. Joint forces seized assets worth R55-million from the alleged kingpin including his two luxury houses in Polokwane and the farm outside Musina called Prachtig.

It was here that some 20 dehorned rhino carcasses were discovered in a shallow grave. This court appearance will inform them of the date of the High Court proceedings and which Court. Many of the witnesses live far away so the High Court will be held either in Musina, Polokwane or Pretoria.

They will be back to the Musina court on the 19th October 2012.

It's about time!!! Castrate with no deadning of any kind, stand them on a chair with a tight rope around their neck, sit in the shade and enjoy the show. Don't know what to do with the women involved. I'm sure someone will think of sometheing.

Me thinks the American lawyer will be busy with his own issues.

Eleven years I have been fighting to rid us of these guys. In the end it will be their own greed that was their downfall. Still, I will not believe it until I see it. These people are still able to "buy a lot of justice". Then I will breathe a sigh of relief. I think I see the Lacey act in some folks future as well. Wink

" highly connected SCI supporter"?? yes, i guess so, since he is a past SCI President and was in fact President when a lot of this shit first came to light here. of course another past SCI President was also a winner of the "door gunner award" when he admitted to shooting moose and sheep from a chopper in Russia and nothing ever came of that court case either( Russian authorities refused to send game officials to testify in US Court and the case was dropped).. i will believe justice is served when i see prison sentences handed down here and abroad.

Mike,

I for one certainly appreciate what people like you are doing in SCI.

May be it is time for the top management to get back to reality and vote in a new management team who might be more attuned to what hunters really want.

I think SCI has alienated a lot of hunters by them turning a blind eye to all the shinanigans done by their management, their support of very shady characters, their inaction in pursuing the PHs they have bestowed PH Of The Year Award on who turned out to be nothing but crooks.

We all want "first for hunters" to actually mean something.
