Wow that really is great news. Better to any son than a boatload of toothy elephants! Hope things only get better and the safari is a successful end to a trying year.

Seeing my mom recover from stage 4 ,the worst level of cancer she is doing GREAT. its been a long haul and I havent posted much lately. Thanks to everyone who said a prayer or sent pics for her. She wanted me to thank everyone for her support during this cancer thing.

It gave her alot of strength seeing people from around the world supporting her, her pain was immeasurable but her strength was stronger. She is an inspireration to all of us blessed with our health and a motivator for those of us who arnt so lucky.

I have 4 elephants with my name on them in Dec 2 bulls, 2 cows. Its some where in Zim I cant remember where. I'm hunting with Alan Vincent as usual. For those who know him he is well we spoke for 20 min the other night. I will be able to go because she pulled through and all she wants is the video. She said she would be mad if I didnt go, a mothers love. She has been hunting twice totalling 6 weeks so she knows the bush and the thrill of it all. I'm going for her as much as me this time. It will be hard not seeing her but thats what sat phones are for.

Thanks again to everyone, even Walter. Who she had the pleasure ? of meeting personally in 2001.

i'm going to get the video I mentioned a few weeks ago going now that I'm back in Vegas. It will be cheap and is a good video, as I said before Its not for profit I want to share and any extra $$$ will go th the NRA.

Congratulations Eric, and I will attest that you are hunting with one of the finest PHs in the whole of Africa, as a young man that was raised in safari camp, and garnered all the skills necessary for the job from his father, and add to that he can out track the best black trackers that Africa has to offer, you cannot go wrong....

On top of that he is as knowledgable of the bush as Selous, Selby, Manners, or any of the old greats, and is one of the finest young men I have ever known....

He is the best without a doubt, your assesment is 100% accurate as usual. I have hunted 103 days with him in Zim. We have been to Hawaii spear fishing, and Cancun twice together. He is one of my best friends.

That is great,

I am glad to see her pull through.

I have an other pile of pictures to send her, is it still ok to send them to the address in Cal.

Give my best to her

Yes, I can understand your concern and I am glad she is doing so well, I lost my mom last year at the age of 100, she had a bad last year, other than that she was always a healthy vibrant lady...A mother is one of the worlds most precious jewels..
