AR logo on one side of the blade and my name on the other. Everything as advertised, and for $42.50 I am happy. Took about a month.

Mr Wegner. I am curious about the Ganyana I saw in Blade. Seems might be the perfect size. Any info/specs/release date on this knife would be appreciated. Many Thanks

I just got back from elk hunting, and my knife was waiting for me. It's a great knife, and I love it! It's solid, feels good in the hand, and it's totally no-nonsense. Razor-sharp as well! The logo and name engraving look really great.

The only thing I don't like is that blasted nylon sheath. It's REALLY mutt-ugly!

Bryce was good enough to make sure that I had my orange Hunter Lite in hand before my whitetail hunt. It was scary sharp and worked very well.

Hey Guys

The New "Ganyana" model was concieved on my first trip to Zim. I thought that particular name for Africa's wild dog was the perfect handle for what was to become our latest predators tool!

It's intended as a mid sized hybrid between the PH knife and the Mouse knife.
Mainly for deer sized game, caping and daily carry.

Ganyana knives will be available about Jan 9th, 2006.

Since the blade is only about 2.5" long and much narrower. I doubt that we could get the AR logo to come out clear enough due to the fact it will have to be done in a much smaller size. We can play around with it and see what happens.

Never the less I will work out AR member pricing for them if you all would like me to do so.

Thanks

Tim

PS: There is no cut off date for ordering the AR knives. We can run the special indefinately.

One catch though is that due to rising costs of goods, Blade-Tech will have an accross the board price increase that will take effect April 1st, 2006. Regretfully I will have to re adjust the special forum prices accordingly when the time comes.

Tim: I sent you another PM, but I can't seem to access the "AR" ordering from my office. Is there another way I can order the knife, like over the phone? thanks, jorge

Mr. Wegner,
That is awesome, can't wait for the Ganyana to come out. For me the PH is just a hair too big and the Mouse , while close, is just a smidge too small(although I need one anyway)but this one seems just right. Are you going to make a Lite version of the Ganyana also? Many Thanks!!

My Professiona Hunter arrived yesterday in Hunter Orange fully decked out in AR logo and my name on it to prevent sticky fingered issues.
It is as sharp as a razor. Great locking mechanism. The sheath is well made to allow vertical or horizontal mounting.
One possible issue is the 1 inch openings. All of my hunting belts are 1 1/2 inches. I may need them to pull out a friend!!
I do not always wear military vests with multiple nylon lashing options.
Thank you for making this offer to the AR forum members. I will proudly wear this in Tanzania in '06 and for all my US hunts.

My knife arrived last Friday and I forgot to post. I ordered mine with the black handle, serrated edge and my aviation callsign on the blade. Looks great! Thanks, Tim. jorge
