Ann Horsman just assisted me in adding pictures to my "Hunting Report-Africa". Below is a couple of additional ones.

A Bull we passed on the second day.

And the one we didn't pass on the 5th day.

Thanks for looking. Fred

Trapntrav,

The PH estimated the one passed on was going to two full turns and a tad.

The actual measurement on the one harvested was 53".

Cool, It didn't show the second pic the first time I looked at this thread, I was wondering about how long you think the one you passed up was.

Nice Kudu with great horns. Looks like the bakke may have been too small.

Fred,

Thats a beautiful Kudu you have there! What caliber did you take it with?

Has the PH dropped the rear wheels of the bakke into a hole to help the loading? I could never understand why they don't put a few extra links into the tailgate chains so it could drop to 45 degrees to make loading easier...

regards,

Pete

Yes they had to dig down a couple of feet for the rear tires and remove the rear seat for loading of the Kudu.

Trap

I am not the one to estimate the length on the first one passed, as it was my first trip to Africa. I would guess also in the low 50's.

I posted my other pictures under hunting reports.

Thanks for looking! Fred
