OK, I get it. Here is a slightly different photo of the "Forty-Niner" that flashed for one second at the end of the 5-minute version, snapped with a cellphone from a notebook screen. Very subliminal of you! Riflecrank Internationale Permanente. Incurable is spelled the same in French and English.

I put this last video here concerning only the 49 inch buffalo, hence the shorter video. Also, it makes it a lot easier for many people who are unable to download long videos. You will be amazed at some of our members are using for computers still today! Sometimes I imagine some of them are still living in Bedrock, right next door to Fred Flinstone! They even complain of the 1800 pixel pictures I post as being too big! [/QUOTE] Yes Saeed, now you come to mention it..

Got asked about the bullet and rifle. Rifle was my usual 375/404 and the bullet was the Barnes 300 grain X bullet. Had nothing but exceptional performance from both, regardless of game animals. On an interesting note, I also used Barnes Super Solid bullets for elephants. A few years earlier, I shot an elephant with my 416 Rigby Improved, with the Barnes 400 grains Super Solid bullet. We recovered the bullet. I turned that bullet down on the lathe, to 375 caliber, and used it to shoot another elephant. Sadly, it went straight through on a side brain shot, and was never recovered. Two elephants with the same bullet - years apart!
