I thought about adding this to another thread about Cecil but decided against it. I'm curious. What happened to the PH who guided Palmer? The last I heard there was a trial scheduled. Was there one? If so, what happened? Bill Quimby

Had a hunt with his company some years ago and all I can say was that everything was above board and had a great hunt. I wonder how much all that has been written is true about this saga, probably not much.

I likewise hunted with Theo and company a number years ago. All was well and above board.

So am I correct in assuming there has been no trial on charges relating to Cecil? Bill Quimby

It's a cat. It left the park. It's not murder. They didn't have quota, that's a problem. A serious problem, but it's still a cat and it's still not murder. I do believe the landowner and the PH should be prosecuted for what they did, but this has been blown out of proportion.
