Once again the trip starts. I fill nervous and happy because we keep coming back. Thanks to Butch and my team of italo spanish dental doctors we are going to treat people from tsolotjo, hwange and vic Falls. All belong to the hunting communal lands. I knew this people through hunting and thanks to hunting. Now I come back as a Dds to help because I fell in love with Zimbabwe.
Last year we saw 1974 patients, did over 8000 procedures and teached over 3000 persons oral health, this year we bring an optometrist and 1200 glasses apart from our annual project. Next year who knows.

Kudos Diego. These are the sorts of stories we need to do a much better job of spreading the word on . . . talk about a story that portrays sportsmen in a positive light. Someone from SCI or DSC ought to follow up with Diego and get more info and turn this into a social media message.

If Diego or someone posts his story on facebook, I will share.

Thanks 4 all the good wishes. Just arrived back! This year we have treated 2200 patients with dental procedures such as fillings, root canals and thousands of extractions! Plus 300 persons had their eyes tested and had graduated glasses for the first time in their life plus 1000 patients recieved sunglasses to protect their eyes from the sun. I love this way of giving back a littel of what Africa has given me

Diego:
That's great news. My derm doc does that half the time it seems and he's a life member of the NRA and hunter, carries in the office everyone that does is welcome. Ever told me to bring my new hunting rifle in to show him.

Before the next trip, you might stop in the various dollar stores and stock up on the glasses and sunglasses. Many are decent for a $1 pr. Same one's W/M charges $12 for.

Thanks again,
George
