We hunted together twice, she was my best friend. She lived 78 years and travelled the world and was ready to go anywhere in a minutes notice, she even met Walter once.

Eric:

As I told you over the phone in November, you will think about her every day for the rest of your life. Grace will allow the sorrow to become wonderful memories.

Many of us here hoped we eased some of her last months in this life with our pictures and notes.

Take a little something of hers and leave it in Africa when you go this spring. Part of her heart will always be there anyway, because of the joy she shared with you on Safari.

God Bless You...

Sorry to hear of her passing. You've shown great love for her here online and I'll bet she went content in the knowledge that she raised a good son. As a parent that's Heaven in itself.

I am sorry to hear this.

I know from your past posts it was not a surprise. But still I know from my own experience that it isn't easy even when there's plenty of warning.

Some things are common ground even among strangers and my thoughts are with you.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my Mom about 4 years ago and as the poster above said, you will think about her every day. She'll always be alive in your heart. Treasure that!

If there's anything you need that we can offer, hopefully you already know to let us know!

The loss of your Mother is something you'll never get over. However, with the grace of God and time you'll learn to live with it.

The great thing about Moms is that they love you, no matter what!
