Can you walk into and out of the afternoon auctions or is that considered to be rude? There are only a few I am interested in and if they stick to the published guide there are long gaps between the auctions I would consider bidding on. Could someone address this etiquette question? Thanks, Jon

Walking in and out of the daily auctions is the norm and expected behavior. Sometimes we pop in for a half hour or so, have a beer, soft drink and popcorn, rest the bones a bit then continue on. Try and get a schedule, at the Show, then go over it and find what approximate time an interesting item is happening then arrive 15 or so minutes early, bid, win, pay and you are on your way. It's really fun just to "watch" this auction from time to time even if nothing really turns your crank. Larry Sellers SCI Life Member

Can anyone tell me when I would find auction item BX064? "There are worse memorials to a life well-lived than a pair of elephant tusks." Robert Ruark
