I bought my first issue of this rag in Windhoek a few weeks ago.

Simliar to the British mag Shooting Times.

I give it a D+ or a C-. I am going to continue to buy it for the advertising, and it is full color so that's nice.

They also have Peter Flack, Terry Wieland, and Joe Coogan, and it's published by PH Rudy Lubin's wife Brook Chilvers.

It's like those fake tittied, pretty blond strippers in Reno that you spend your money on during Safari Club, beauty only goes skin deep.

A worthwhile alternative Hunting Magazine was launched by Mike Angelides (pretty darn good Tanzanian PH) at Reno in Jan 2005.

I have received all issues to date and am impressed by this relatively young publication.

It's content is focussed on Tanzania and it is endorsed by the African Professional Hunting Association.

I think their website is at http://www.africa-insight.com

If your are interested in hunting in Tanzania then it's worth checking it out.

The best photographic quality, and good articles too...+ no more commercialised than any other UK/US shooting rag.

The South African 'Magnum Magazine' is a much cheaper alternative...at the expense of colour pictures + 1 Afrikaans article per issue.

Boghossian, did you kill that Ibex yet?

Magnum is a much better magazine, so is Hatari though for the one man show.

Your right about the photos!
