450 No2 on the Chrono

I chronoed some loads in my 450 No2 today.

All loads used 88 gr. of RL 15.
480 Woodleigh Soft 2070fps
500 Swift A Frame 2171 fps
The above loads performed PEREFECTLY on buff in Zim.
500 gr Hornady Soft 2102.5 fps

350 Hornady Soft with 81 gr of IMR 3031 2401 fps.

Superior Factory:
480 Woodleigh Soft 2227.5 fps
480 Woodleigh Solid 2180 fps
the Superior loads shot one ragged hole at 50 yards.

My rifle is proffed/regulated for 75 grains of Cordite. It has 28" barrels.

Once again, please tell us what your composite group is with these loads... At 100 or even 50 yards.

Tim, all these loads have been tested in the past on paper and on game.
They shoot good enough to kill deer, pigs and elephant to 100 yards.

The Superior loads were shot for group the same time they were chronoed. The rest of the loads had been shot so many times before, today I was just trying not to hit my buddies chrony. Big Grin
