Folks:

I just got my new Searcy .470 yesterday. It is a shooter! These targets were with Woodleigh 500 grain softs at Butch's "Shoulder-Separating" load or 108 grains of IMR4831 for 2250 fps. Dang... you know you shot the sucker.

I'm out of here on the 21st for an Elephant hunt in the Matetsi. I know it will be hot, but I'm a South Georgia boy and it was 90 degrees here just two weeks ago.

Wish me luck!

And have you ever seen a more accurate double?

And yes, I'm taking my American Flag britches... I'll smoke a good cigar and sip a single malt to the AR guys. I have a leopard available if one wanders buy, too. These late season specials are great if you can go at a moments notice.

JudgeG,

You're sure to have a good time down there with your new double. And I'm amazed over its accuracy! Have fun trip!

Rays Birthday!!!
I met with Ray in Sept. on my way back from my Idaho bear hunt. He still seemed pretty spry to me. I was thinking a 20 year old Blonde would be a more appropriate gift.

PS. I always give a friend something I think I would like for myself.
