This cracked me up - thought I'd share. Sunbathing tourists run for safety as rampaging rhinos invade hotel swimming pool area in Zimbabwe Some (sarcastic) thoughts: - They were probably looking for a snack or two. Or maybe some sun tan lotion. - Maybe Zim hotels could hire an appy to guard the pool areas during the off hunting season? - I'm betting after these photos were taken, the tourists drew names out of a hat and named them "Wimpy" and "Buster" - These folks can't wait to get back to the US and tell their friends that rhinos aren't all that scary. "These photos show the moment that sunbathers at a hotel swimming pool were interrupted by two raging rhinos. Tourists were happily lying around the pool while on safari in Zimbabwe when the horned animals suddenly appeared in the camp. They strolled along and took an interest in the swimming pool, sending sunbathers leaping to safety. Pam Broadhurst, who snapped the shots before running out of the rhinos' sight, told the Mirror: "My daughter and I were on a safari when, while resting around the swimming pool, uninvited guests arrived, in the form of two rhinos." "'I had my camera and started taking photos of them, as you can see they were very near.'" "'I missed the ones where they tossed the furniture into the pool because my daughter was dragging me over the wall to escape their wrath.'" | ||
