Safari Hunters journal buff hunt

Just watched the show and it struck me as another one of those funny hunts
Anyone had seen it?
The PH carried back up rifle that looked like Ruger # 1
One shot rifle as back up for buff?
Hmmm ...

Maybe his tracker carried another one just like it? Would be the same as a double then, just a little slower to bring to bear.

I've done back-up work with a Ruger No.1 .450/400 3"NE for a friend who was bowhunting. I had to use it, too, as the bull was hit poorly. I agree, not the best choice, but still not too bad. Got it all sorted out, but there was a tense moment.

I saw the show but, never did pay attention to the rifle the PH carried. I was wondering what brand of broadhead was used. The only thing I could tell was a cut-on-contact broadhead.
