Any of you brave souls out there who have used their sevices or have knowledge of the operation? A friends trophies from Moz have shown up there and he has been quoted prices for completed work, when he thought that it would be dip and ship. This fellow has had work done in Africa before, so that part of the situation does not scare him.
My son and I had one bleached skull and horns and 1 complete shoulder mount of Cape Buffalo done by them, as well as 2 tanned Buffalo hides. The work was of good quality. I was regularly contacted by them. First when they received the animals from the PH, then when they were completed, and finally when ready to be shipped. They were easy to reach by E-mail and always responded quickly. They will only accept bank wires or certified checks, no personal checks or credit cards. My only disappointment was I asked for the trophies to be shipped in one crate to save money, they arrived in two. Others have indicated it is necessary to do this as CITES are required on them. The finished trophies were well packed and arrived with no damage. Took me about an hour to get mine out of the crate. The skull and shoulder mount both had many screws through the crate into the backing to prevent shifting in transit. Cost for taxidermy was very reasonable. Shipping was another matter. I still believe they purchased individual airline tickets for each buffalo.
I haven't delt with them, but my brother had a problem of some sort with them. They apparantly lost a portion of his elephant hide. They eventually made it good, but it took many months to sort it all out.

My brother and I had some work done by Taxidermy Enterprises. I will tell you as I have others, the only reason you run away trom Taxidermy Enterprises is you can't fly! Their work is not worth a damn. Our trophies came back to us in bad shape. They completely ruined my Cape Buffalo and my brothers Leopard. We talked to the manager at the SCI convention about what happened to us a couple of years ago. Their reply amounted to oh well. They even recommended that we take our mounts to an american taxidermist and get them fixed at out cost.
