Worked out the loads and sights on my up and coming custom FN M98 458Win last weekend.
Ready for oiling, engraving, checkering and then bluing.
Its set with the following;
23" Walther barrel
"Sound Metal Products" bottom metal.
Recknagel fittings.
Silvers pad.
Woodleigh 480grn 450 bullets and 74grns of Benchmark2 for 2150fps mv.
Not sure if ill be using this rifle or my 425WR on my up coming Ele hunt??
Decisions, decisions Confused

Oz,

Are you kidding me?

"Not sure if ill be using this rifle or my 425WR on my up coming Ele hunt??"

You better use the .458. No question about it.

Love the gun.

As taught in design class, "form follows function." Your rifle definitely fits that definition.

A classic Adam! Well done!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.
