I've sent about 20 copies of my Selous Reserve DVD out to various AR members and have notified all the pending recipients of its forthcoming arrival. Some should already have them. I hope it was worth the wait???
If you want one to view or copy, just post your name below and I'd hope that someone with one would p.m. or e-mail you and get your address for mailing theirs to you. If you already have one and have copied it or are ready to send it along to another member, post that also so everyone can see what a birthday party looks like in LU1.
As I stated before, the DVD is not professional or commercial... not much blood, no charges.. just a fun time in a beautiful part of Africa with great folks. I do think it gives one the sense of an East African Safari better than some of the tapes for sale. I hope you'll all enjoy it.
Just remember that I've lost 50#'s since I first saw it. Nothing like having to look at your own fat butt stumbling across elephant-track rutted ground to cause one to lose weight.
See ya'll in Dallas!

As relaxed as JudgeG appeared in the picture above, notice the stealth and cunning that he and Pierre Van Tonder exhibited in RSA this past June. These two fine hunters are and example to the rest of us. I am sure we could learn much from this DVD. I was present during this hunt, and I consider myself to be a better outdoorsman after being in the presence of two such skilled gentlemen.

Damn you Dale (or 1115, or whatever you want to call yourself):
I'm now going to get you back...
Anyone who would like to eat the world's very best bar-b-que ribs and wants to see the DVD is invited to Dale's house this next Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. BYOB. RSVP by p.m. to 1115. Directions follow:
Go to Woodbine, Georgia. Do something loud and illegal. From the jail, ask for Lt. Bundy. Sheriff Smith will provide transport to the regal residence of Detective & Mrs. 1115 (along with a striped party suit to wear.)
Bond money will be used to by mo' ribs and corn-on-the-cob.
Now... Dale, cook some extra ribs and don't post that darn picture anymore.
Free camping at the residence (for the first two months). House trailers are encouraged. Yankees must pay a $.50 damage deposit. Southerners my just leave their Bud cans in the yard for pickup and recycling profits. Canadians are welcome if they have a good place to fish back home. Ray is banned because he was caught last time fooling with one of the dogs. All guests must check their double rifles at the door. Dale got married two weeks ago, so very expensive presents are in order (he is "registered at Rigby, H&H and Dakota Arms.) Remember, if you use MasterCard for your bail bond, you get double frequent flyer points. And for you "special" guests, Dales's cousin LeRoy will be in attending and will provide free prostate exams. He plays the banjo, too.

Please add me to the distribution list, as I'd love to see it. I have a mental picture of the video as a cross between the Marx Bros and the Keystone cops.

Judge, thank you so much for sending me a copy. i have burned more for: Shumba, Kyler, Detorre, Loud-n-boomer, RancherJack, Christer and myself.
It's one of my new favorites, as I love the way you narrated it yourself, and we really got the chance to see what kind of a guy you are, and we got to see your still picture, and that of Pierre and his wife come to life.
Good stuff. I look forward to seeing more of your exploits on screen, and you've inspired me to do the same on MY next trip!
Thanks again!!!!

I sent one to Norway, I believe, but I'd be honored to send one to the home of my favorite libation. Please get me an address! Remember that I'll expect payback if I visit Scotland, and I'm not looking for a wool sweater!

My wife and I veiwed your DVD last evening and I have to say that it was very enjoyable. We especially appreciated your narrative, and it is clear that you have put some work into making the movie an interesting experiance. We also liked that the movie took us "behind the scenes" in the safari camp, and on the tracks used to get around during the hunt. The rough tracks, shown in the film, and getting stuck really reminded us of our drive from Norway to RSA since this is what we experianced for countless thousands of kilometers (which is why it took a year... ). It just about brought a small tear to our eyes!
It looks like you thuroughly enjoyed yourself and were very well taken care of by Pierre and Anneli, and I hope you have many more hunts in the future that you will share with us via more DVDs!
Erik D.
ps. We also appreciated your selfsence of humor; the object in question was a bit on the large side! Must have been the wideangled camera lens...
