For those that do a lot of lion hunting, PH or client, what would you say are the ratios of wild lions shot over bait, to spot, track and stalk, to target of opportunity, to from the truck, or somthing I haven't thought of?

I would say around bait maybe not directly on it but within a short distance

High percentage at/near bait, for sure!

Most are shot on bait. Only 3 of the lions I shot were followed.

eny , as a percentage i would say 85% on or near bait 10% track stalk and kill 5% spot, stalk and shoot this purely a guess and i know certain areas one sees more simply driving around than others , this is just my experience , actually to be honest i have taken quite a few lions at the bait but before we even built a blind , we always walk in to check a bait and often the lions are there .... given the choice and the right terrain and ground to do so , tracking lion is simply the most rewarding of all the hunts when it goes right!
