To put it another way: Shoot a community; save an elephant. The traditional methodology for protecting wildlife in Africa was to create national parks or preserves and kick out the locals; not exactly shooting them, but often with the same consequences.

That's a great article, someone should find a way to get it published in more of a mainstream magazine or other means of getting it viewed more broadly. One quick way to get it viewed more widely - I just posted a link to the article on my Facebook page. It came up great, it shows the article title, along with the graphic and is now available to nearly 500 Facebook 'friends' that I have, most of whom probably don't know much about hunting.

Great article. Thanks for posting it! ______________________ I don't shoot elk at 600 yards for the same reasons I don't shoot ducks on the water, or turkeys from their roosts. If this confuses you then you're not welcome in my hunting camp.
