I've got it on pretty good authority that Butch Searcy is planning a new double rifle in perhaps 450-400, 470 and a 450 N.E.

It is supposed to be a utilitarian rifle, plain Jane wood, blued with no engraving,ejectors,double triggers, just a vanilla hunting rifle, and that's something we have all been needing for a decade or two..I think it will sell for around 10 grand...

Has anyone else heard such a rumor? Personally I sure hope its true..
