Has anyone hunted in Ugalla in the Tabora region of Tanzania? Recently or otherwise, I'd like any intelligence. I'm going next August.

Which block in Ugalla as there are two, one of which is very good while the other is mediocre?

I'm guessing the block owned by the Africab guys. Think Mantheakis is offering hunts there now.

Probably the case as they are not really known in the client world and likely experiencing marketing difficulties.

Yeah, I understand there are two blocks and my understanding is I can hunt in both. But haven't paid as close attention to this one as I should have and not completely sure.

Fulvio,

Yeah, I don't think the family that owns the concession has really marketed the area, but I think it has promise. Hunting lion again among other things that Ugalla seems particularly suited for, such as roan, topi, crocs. And buffalo as always. Told Michel I'd do it if he was the PH and have pretty much trusted that I'm in good hands and looking forward to hunting with a good friend.
