I just came across a book by Selous on NA Big game hunting. I had no idea he hunted over here as much as he did nor write a book about it! Am I the only one??

If I recall right he market hunted in the Yukon during the gold rush.

He seems to have had some good hunting. I was surprised to come across his name in Rowland Ward's Records of Big Game 4th ed 1903. Number 17 white tail deer taken in Wyoming, page 100, number 24 mule deer also taken in Wyoming, page 102. There might be others but I have not read through in detail.
