First, I apologize this is not the right spot for this but this forum gets more traffic. My son will be traveling to Kenya in Feb but will only be in country for 5-6 days. His ship docks in Mombasa. He is debating on a short 3 day safari that takes him to Masai Mara or one that takes him to Tsavo East, West and Amboseli. Does anyone here have first hand experience with these parks and have a recommendation? I'm leaning towards suggesting the latter as it gives him more time in the parks among the wildlife and the first he loses a half day on each end flying. Thanks for any input. D NRA Life Memebr

I’ll be in Kenya in February with my daughter and part of our trip will be on Masai Mara. My suggestion is to contact Tom Dames, as he did a superb job of arranging our trip. His father, Derek Dames, is a partner in Ker & Downey. Great guy, lifelong Kenyan and a good PH too! He can tell your son what is feasible for the days he will be there. I will PM you with his WhatsApp number.

The migration will be around NgoroNgoro at that time of year so spending the extra time to travel to the Mara probably isn't worth it. If he spends time in Amboseli he will also get great views Kilimanjaro, subject to cloud cover. Ewart Grogan's old farmhouse at Lake Jipe is now a hotel if he goes to Tsavo West. When he is in Mombasa he may want to see Ft Jesus, built by the Portuguese around 400 years ago. There are good beaches if he gets a ways out of town. Off shore fishing used to be good up toward Malindi or around the Pemba Channel. Not sure how it is now. You might contact Baxterb. He probably has a few ideas as well. Hope your son has a blast!
