That lion and soon-to-be-history buff shot is outstanding. Thanks for putting them up.

I really like the black & whites...really classy. I think MRLexma took some of those on one of his hunts and posted them and I remember thinking how great they looked.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Great photography, whoever did it - and it wasn't me, unfortunately. Big Grin Thanks for posting these, Nick.

mr...I didn't mean to imply those were your pix even though it reads to that effect in my post. I meant to say you used the black & white technique very effectively on one of your trips and posted some of those images on AR. I enjoyed them because of the excellent quality of said pix and the fact they were not your standard color shot. Trying to keep the posting short and sweet sometimes lends itself to misinterpretaion. Especially when you do it with a Texas drawl. Wink

bwanamrm, I didn't understand but do now and thank you for the compliment, although my wife deserves all the credit, since she is the photographer in the family.

She converted me to a fan of B&W too, it really lends a classic look to things, and she still uses a 35mm film camera as much as the newfangled digital.
