Who is the best customs broker for trophies from South "Africa? ...I say that hunters go into Paradise when they die, and live in this world more joyfully than any other men. -Edward, duke of York ". . . when a man has shot an elephant his life is full." ~John Alfred Jordan "The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero - 55 BC "The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities." - Ayn Rand Cogito ergo venor- KPete “It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker, that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own self-interest. I used Safari Specialty Importers last year. All I had to do was write a check. Super easy.

Thanks. I will call them. Coppersmith was another suggestion. ...I say that hunters go into Paradise when they die, and live in this world more joyfully than any other men. If you can write a "to whom it may concern" letter stating that the cargo is "personal hunting trophies of no commercial value" you don't need one. But it will be more complicated if there are unprocessed trophies, or swine in your shipment. +1 for Coppersmith ___________________________________________________________________________________ Give me the simple life; an AK-47, a good guard dog and a nymphomaniac who owns a liquor store.

Another vote for Coppersmith. Jennifer in Seattle has made a miserable experience with a very poor company in Zim as good as it could be. I used the Portland office 2 years ago for South Africa and the Chicago office before that.

We just had a shipment of processed trophies (taxidermy, hides, rugs, skulls, euro mounts, etc.) delivered to our door from South Africa this past March. African Trophy Exports did an outstanding job. Kept us informed the entire time on what was happening and where the shipment was located. It was packed so well they could have just kicked it out the back of the aircraft as it flew over the house. Zululand Taxidermy did a great job on the trophies and recommended African Trophy Exports to us.

Copper smith in Dallas can choke to death on a monster porn cock. They were rude and condescending and would not listen to any of my question instead responding with blather and canned answers. There solution to a hole about 8” across in my crate was to simply staple a piece of cardboard over the hole. They refused to use any LTL truck line other than Estes who proceeded to destroy my crate in transit. When contacted both companies basically told me to piss up a rope. I currently have an attorney involved. Also the taxodermist inSA was TransAfrican who built the crate out of Masonite and 2x2’s with nothing built properly. Coppersmith saved my butt on a Zambian shipment a few months ago. I’ll use Coppersmith again without hesitation.

I am using Safari Specialty Import..... Wyatt is very responsive. Nice dude. Everything is still in process, so cannot comment on final results. However, my taxidermist has used them before & practically insist on it with all the headaches of CITES, etc. Nowadays.
