I have all eight volumes. Steve, my friend, your layout was fantastic!  Just got volume 8 earlier this week, and was pleasantly surprised to see Steve's trophies. | |||

Thanks for that. The Sitatunga mount, my Taxidermist at the time didn't put enough fake Papyrus on it. He kept adding and I kept telling him to add more. Finally, I told him fine. He commented that you can't even see the Sitatunga. I said "exactly" that's how it is hunting them as well. Formerly "Nganga" | |||

A few observations on the book. Lots of Russians. Their trophy rooms lack any artistic expression. They seem a jumble just to show how many. I don't do any taxidermy. If I change my mind, I won't have any Russian taxidermy done. Steve's trophy room is a graceful combination of artistic display, good use of color and design, and his taxidermy is the best of the best.
