Safari Press has just added; "Great Hunters Their Tropy Rooms and Collections", volume 8.

I was honored to have my room included. They (Safari Press) were wonderful to work with and they exceeded my expectations in the publishing and quality.

A fine addition for anyones hunting library.

Thank you UEG. I was surprised at the amount of Russians represented in volume 8. This is by far the most international volume of the series.

I got mine today. It´s one of the best volumes. Steve, I like the color of your walls and I love your Sitatunga full mount. It`s unique.

Thanks for that. The Sitatunga mount, my Taxidermist at the time didn't put enough fake Papyrus on it. He kept adding and I kept telling him to add more. Finally, I told him fine. He commented that you can't even see the Sitatunga. I said "exactly" that's how it is hunting them as well.

A few observations on the book.

Lots of Russians.

Their trophy rooms lack any artistic expression. They seem a jumble just to show how many.

I don't do any taxidermy. If I change my mind, I won't have any Russian taxidermy done.

Steve's trophy room is a graceful combination of artistic display, good use of color and design, and his taxidermy is the best of the best.

Not only you have caused me to rethink my view on trophies and hunting, now you have made me spend some money to order a book.

Well done Steve, looking forward to seeing your room in the new edition.

Thank you Mike. Always appreciate discussing these things with you. Neither one of us feels the need to raise the volume or have the last word.
