A very reasonable price for a bull ele hunt. I take it you can recommend the outfitter?

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

bwanamrm This is a good area for trophy elephant and hunt with great people. 40lbs plus is expected. Norman Crooks and his son n laws Frik and Louis Muller own Pro Safaris. They were born and raised in Zimbabwe and now live in the city of Bulawayo. Along with most everyone else they have lost there farms. Norman was a sniper in the Rhodesian Army. As a ph he trained under Lou Hallamore. Normans passion is cat hunting. His clients take some of the biggest leopards in Africa out of Southern Zim every year. The leopard hunts run 14 days at $8,400 with $2,950 trophy fee. The leopard hunt with dogs is 10 days at $13,500 with trophy fee included.
This ele hunt will probably be with Graeme Jones who works with Pro Safari and knows this area well.
The picture is of Norman and myself with a leopard we took last May.
I will be over there next month hunting buffalo.

Beautiful Lep!!!!!

PS Your favorite Eastwood lines?

Mine, from Unforgiven:

Gene Hackman (Little Bill): You're William Muny, killer of women and children..

Eastwood: Yes, I've killed women and children, and just about anything that walks and crawls this earth, and I'm here to kill you Little Bill, for what you did to my friend....

Okay, I could not resist. Favorite Clint Eastwood line:

Outlaw Josey Wales, after shooting a couple of fellows that were trying to bushwack Clint and collect a reward, Clint's companion asks whether they are going to bury the bushwackers. Clint spits on one of the dead guy's head and says, "Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms."

Outlaw Josey Wales is filled with great quotes.

The all time best movie line has got to be from Quigley Down Under after the antagonist challenges him to a duel, thinking he is only good with a rifle:

As they get ready to draw, the antagonist proclaims that he was born on the wrong continent (wanted to be Bill Hillcock). Quigley says, "This isn't Dodge City, and you ain't Bill Hickock."

Then he draws and kills 3 guys. As he walks up to the dying guy he just shot, he says, "I said I never had much use for one...I never said I didn't know how to use one."
