Ladies and Gentlemen,

I posted a photo of the first buffalo I have shot in Zimbabwe in 1982 while back, and found another photo of the same bulls coming to have a drink.

The young man you see in the first photo is Alan Vincent, sitting in front of our camp at Deka safari area. Unknown to him, his sister, Diane and his mother Rene, we were following the bulls you see in the photo.

They never realized we were there until they heard the shot, the result of which is the bull you see above.

Alan, as many of you know, has grown to be a great PH, just like his father.

Great photos Saeed! Alan couldn't be more than 10 yo if that's 1982.

Hopefully this will not offend any of the people I have hunted with over the years, but I have to say that Alan is the best hunter I have ever had the privelege of hunting with. You can sure tell he has spent the majority of his life in the bush.

I thought it would be interesting to show a picture 24 years after Saeed's photo above... this is of Alan and myself in 2006, during one of the best days of my life so far! Smiler

Cheers,
Canuck

Saeed,

Have you ever considered writing a book. You certainly have all he experiences to provide fodder and with Walter in tow there'd even be humor.
