There are numerous versions available on Youtube you can watch anytime you like.

And many other old AFRICAN movies too.

Damn sight better than watching any of the current so called hunting or outdoor shows!

If you get a download manager, you can download all the movies, or clips, off YouTube to watch off line.

I use Internet Download Manager, and love it.

Just watched the 1950's version last night with the family. Excellent movie in it's own right. I love the dialogue between Quartermain and Beth and the acting is far better than most things on TV these days. But this is one of those movies that I believe comes up short of the original story. It's so different from Haggard's novel that, other than some of the events and the main character's name I wouldn't have known it was based on the book at all. As a stand alone movie though, it was thoroughly enjoyable.

You nailed that down Saeed, I agree 110%, todays hunting shows are so staged that on a 30 minute show they wait 28 minutes for said elk or deer to turn broadside and pose like a Hollywood sex queen!! barf
