I am making my first trip to Namibia from the US in May. It looks like the best arrangements might be to fly into Frankfurt and then straight to Windhoek. If I spend a couple of days in Frankfurt before getting back on the plane, does anyone know if taking my rifles on and off the plane there will be an issue? Thanks.

I would check with Kathi Klimes or with Gracy Travel. I had my guns inadvertently offloaded in Frankfurt on the return flight and after dealing with the German Customs people(who didn't know what to do after consulting their manuals and other officials), I convinced them to call Delta's representative. He saved the day, and we were able to match the connecting flight.

I did not overnight but would be happy to help you with any other questions. ______________________ I don't shoot elk at 600 yards for the same reasons I don't shoot ducks on the water, or turkeys from their roosts. If this confuses you then you're not welcome in my hunting camp.

Been through Frankfurt via Denver twice. Layovers were 10hrs and I took a day room at the Sheraton across the street. Absolutely seemless transfer to Windhoek. Doing it again in June. 114-R10David
