Folks,

This isn't exactly African Hunting but I wanted to inform my friends that I'll be moving to Las Vegas on Monday and correspondence could be spotty for a few days until we get the office set up again.

Thanks,

Mark

Guys,

No worries on the gaming. I have nothing against it but it doesn't interest me in the slightest. Glad to hear from so many folks that enjoy Las Vegas. I'm looking forward to it.

I might follow you down there, I have a job interview as a male model working behind the strip next week.

And another one at a more reputable place further down the road.

We have plenty of wind here in Vegas; gusts yesterday and today of 30-40mph (just a 'gentle breeze' by Wyoming standards Big Grin ).

The major difference is that our winds are generally southwesterly (warm), instead of northwesterly (nippy) as in Wyoming.

Cody doesn't have wind like Casper or Cheyenne.

Casper winds will turn a sheep inside out if it turns the wrong way.

Winds in Wyoming are so bad that many poems and a jingle or two have been written about them. I miss Wyoming, but I don't really miss the wind.

I carry concealed. Just have to apply for the permit, take the class, shoot, get fingerprinted, picture taken. Good for 5 years. You can carry open if you like. Some people do.

I think in places like Cody where it is part of the culture open carry is great. The majority of places everyone else lives it makes folks uncomfortable and brings undue attention.

I personally wouldn't do it.

Another conversation for another place.
