Beautiful bushbuck and an outstanding trophy. Congrats to the lucky hunter. I'd love to have a Nile to add to my others.

If I happened to be the PH the hunter and I would be wrestling for the rifle after 0.001 seconds telling him it is a potential winner.

Well done to hunter and PH.

Is that Lee Anderson from Minnesota? If so I worked for him as first mate on his boat in the Bahamas just after I got out of college. He is a huge hunter and sheep nut to boot.

He looks like the same guy. Wouldn't surprise me if he was . Congratulations to him.

I'm a Bushbuck nut, so I really appreciate an impressive animal like that. I hope this guy is a bushbuck nut as well.

I shot a Chobe Bushbuck years ago that was #4 or #5 at the time and the PH handled the animals appearance with utmost professionalism. He hit the brakes on the truck so hard I almost bonked my head on the windshield, his eyes got about the size of silver dollars and he began breathlessly shouting, "WHO WANTS A BUSHBUCK" as the animal casually (and fatally) walked away from us at about 50 yards. I wonder what he would have done if I had not expressed interest in the species. Smiler

Worthy of a hunt on it's own.
