Which is the best for service and price for the meet & greet service along with advance application for SA visitor permits?
The PHASA service or the Air 2000? or are there others?

There's a few different ones and the two you mention are both very good.

Aubrey Kent who posts here as 458Aubs is excellent and there's also a company called (I think) gunpermits.co.za.

I used Bruce from Gracy Travel in may. He made it a very painless experience.

riflepermits.com was affiliated with Afton House the last two times I was thru there. I'm not sure about the present but of course Afton House is a great place and the two together is a seamless operation.

I also used Bruce from Gracy Travel. It was a breeze.

Asking for the "best" sort of means only those few, if any, who have tried all can reply.

I certainly haven't tried all, but I just had an absolutely trouble free transit through Joburg" to/from Zimbabwe using Gracy travel. Walking faster is the only way I see I could have made it through faster than Bruce facilitated...

Suspect others provide similar trouble free transit that infrequent travelers could not equal on their own.

Emory

we have used PHASA and Riflepermits.com both were good, but henry was there personally and is slightly more economical, so my vote goes to riflepermits.com

I owuld not hesitate to use either of them again Smiler

Fair point, Larry. But I keep feeling the African Travel is dominated by folk saying when and where they are going to and from...so I thought my OP would be here.

Your PH, whom you hired; should be the one who handles everything from the time you unbuckle and step off the plane until you step back on it and sit down for that loooooooooong flight back home.
