My hats of to Len and the guys. If anyone would know how dangerous a task it was it would be him. Reading some of the comments made me sick. Sometimes I cant believe how stupid people really can be. I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same. | |||

I feel for those men. The decision to end a life after desperately struggling to save that life is a hard thing. Ask anyone who has been there with an old dog or horse who has served them faithfully for many years. I believe God uses these heartbreaking times to help us learn that life is precious, and our ability to influence life of death and indeed even choose life or death is a gift that we should respect with great carefulness. The older I get the more introspective I become because of my understanding as expressed above. I think of the wastefulness of my youth with some regret. Glad to be forgiven.
