The following was sent to me by an outfitter friend of mine. He is on a tv show . I have removed him name and contact info. This beats the last 10 hate mails I've gotten! Begin forwarded message: From: P RAE <paulrae@shaw.ca> Date: August 28, 2015 at 11:17:20 AM AKDT To: Subject: Hey Greetings from Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Love the show, and respect your subsistence life style, very cool. But I have to question you selling tickets to guide people so they can kill a Brown Bear for example, or any large game. Killing to sustain your life style is one thing, but selling the opportunity to blow away wildlife for profit, or sport, or fun, or what ever it is wrong. I've even heard of guides feeding bears in certain spots before hunting season opens so when the time comes the so called hunters can go to where the bear has been feeding in preparation and kill it, crazy. The pictures you have on your website of people smiling, shacking hands, posing with the bloody animals is disturbing to say the least. The joy people have in blowing away a beautiful bear for sport is concerning. The mine set of many Americans is quite shocking, your gun violence is out of control, racism and poverty are everywhere. I certainly understand why you live where you do. If I were you I wouldn't tell anyone about your life because the next thing you won't have any animals to harvest yourself. I know you need to make money, but guiding losers to kill for sport so you can make some cash isn't right. Life is cheap to you. If you need cash grow some pot, everyone likes a good joint now and then. A few pounds a year and your set. Thanks for your time Paul Rae Whistler BC | ||
