Just got some photos of a fantastic lion shot by client of Bruce Watsons at Riverside in Zim. I am just no good at posting photos so if someone will do so I will email them the photos. Looks like they brought the lion back to the lodge and laid him out in the grass for nice photos and I am sure to weigh him. You might not know but Riverside is owned and operated by John Greeff who many know here. John was still in Tanzania and Bruce did this hunt. We had seen lots of sign of this lion and others the last several years and I know Davie had seen this guy. Great that they got him.

Oh yes Riverside..used to be one of Charles Davy's areas under the company named Matetsi Wildlife Safaris. I hunted with them in 1991 at one of their other camps called Kasibi..they also has Ursala camp close to Vic Falls. We went by Riveside during our trip and met with PH Greg Butler who was hunting out of there with a Spanish client...good memories!!

My apoligies for the delay but as I had already opened my big mouth and keyboard fingers I realized that I did not yet have permission to publicly post. If I were the client I would be pissed to have my photo out there without my permission. I have asked it of both John and Bruce and should have it soon. Sorry to sound like a dick but I was not thinking or would have held off. He is one beautiful cat though. Only threw that one in for you guys giving me the finger as you read this. Smiler

As per your request Boss. There was a tree on riverside a million years ago that was a cat factory, will ask Boudreaux if that was the one...
