I laughed out loud at reading your post - but I do question what the heck any Texan would know about cabin fever! You guys live in the most wide open country in the US -and,no, I am not impressed by Texas stories of their winters. (I lived in northern NY for many years) Oh,well, cheer up -this is not a Yankee insulting you - just kidding you -and glad to see one more Texan with a sense of humor. (P.S. I had to "parse" sentences in 4th grade and never truly learned rules of English grammar - I always went by what I had read usually to recognize what was "correct".)
