i learned how to post pictures, now i can become a menace. In the past i refered to my matched pairs of dakotas and berettas. Heres a picture or two. The job that don allen did on the two dakotas was really amazing, especially when you think that they arrived over a year apart. The extra set of barrels for the berettas are in 20 ga. I bought them sometime latter and the old master gunsmith jim kobe (emphasis of old) fitted them. they fit either action. Dakotas are 375 and 416 dakota and the o/u's are 30:06 and 9.3x74R

I have a bunch of matched pairs of guns.I have twin 338-378Weatherbys,twin 264 win mags,two sets of twin 416 rem mags,Two sets of twin 20 ga,Two sets of 10 ga,Two sets of 12 Ga ,four sets of 22 pistols,Fours sets of muzzle loaders,Two sets of Ruger old Arms,twin 10-22s,twin 454 Rugers ,And 4 sets of 338 win mags and a partridge in a pair tree.I think I have a 2 disorder.

Now that you can post pictures, you, as well as many others on this site should learn to resize them before you upload to PhotoBucket or wherever. That way people with less than 2 foot wide screens can see the whole picture at one time. Not being a smartass - just some constructive criticism.

Those Dakotas look nice, even if they are Bolt Rifle Trash.

However I am glad to see that you have your double rifles scoped, even if they are O/U.

MY question is, if an O?U double is scoped, do you still have to have surgery to move your eyes from this oo, to this 8, so you can shoot them???

PS. Having the 20ga bbls fit BOTH doubles is "way cool".
