Anyone going to the Vintager's shoot in Millbrook , NY. in 2 weeks..I will be shooting in the stopping rifle with the 450#2...

No, but I'd love to see pics of their animal targets if you get a chance.

It sounds like fun. I can lend you a pair of knickers if you want! The folks at Alexander James are one of the vendors attending. Wish I could go by and say Hi to them for all their help in making the English clothes I had them make.

I'll be there with my .577 Gibbs and possibly the Holland .500/450; also, for the stalking course, the Evans .375 and something else. Remember , this year an extra 6 rounds [26 total] are needed for the course. I hear the extra 6 are at timed targets designed to make it harder for the single shots to dominate the stalking course as they did last year.

Retreever, Thanks for correcting me! I now have to load a few more .577s; also you are allowed sighting/ fouling shots, so plan on at least 2 extra per day.
I'm looking forward to meeting you, and swaping safari stories. I got back 2 months ago from 2 weeks in Zim. Your photos brought back memories of how great it was.
