How many of you booked and or did discounted hunts this year? Would you have gone if not for the discount?

I just got back from a lion hunt in Zimbabwe the end of October. It was a discounted hunt. I definitely would not have gone otherwise. I thought I would be only dreaming of a wild lion hunt in this life because of the price.

I have been to Argentina & Zim thus far this year. I am going to Spain in less than 2 weeks. None of the hunts were discounted. However the Zim hunt was restructured such that I would pay less if I didn't get a lion. The daily rate was reduced and the trophy fee was increased.

The services of the cameraman for the Zim trip were voluntarily reduced my the company. I didn't ask.

Booked leopard and roan hunt at big discount in Zambia. booked elephant hunt at big discount last year. When to Zambia also paid full price

Have a desert sheep in the works. Price has come way down from 2 years ago.

took a half price hippo/croc hunt bought on AR with Kwan safaris in Moz. 2 months ago( hunt report posted). had a great time, got what i wanted and wouldn't have gone if not for the discount.
