Hope this comes out. Nice to be 12 years old on first safari with Dad! 1983 in Kalahari.

Thanks for posting D. Nelson.
This was part of a 21 day safari that took place in the Kalahari and Cuando with Terry Palmer. My father and I shot 20 + animals which never made it home, including this full mount black mane lion. I guess it turned out the taxidermist and shipper were crooks. I don't remember all the details, but we have pictures and GREAT memories.

That is heart breaking on losing the trophies but wow what a Lion & fantastic memories with your Dad !
